Guide Review - DriveShield Plus
In light of the fact that there are so many threats out there on the Internet that require such an array of different products to protect against them, none of which is 100% effective, a tool like DriveShield Plus seems to make sense. You can surf the web and read your email knowing that any malicious changes that might get made to your system can be easily undone with a simple reboot of the machine.
Of course, until you DO reboot your system, it may still be infected with various spyware and other malware. Your computer may be propagating the latest virus for days until you decide to reboot and restore your clean, functional system.
The other downside is that you need to make sure you move files such as email data to the persistent storage area, the one place where changes are retained, or you will lose all new email with each reboot. It takes some time to get used to remembering to disable the software when you are trying to install software or make changes on purpose.
It is an extreme solution. But, it is an effective one and you always know you can get your clean computer back.
